WHAT??
Since August 2009, we have delivered affordable live webcast production services to DoSomething.org, a national youth organization. The live webcast brought thousands more viewers to the DoSomething.org Social Action Bootcamps – workshops that help young people 25 and under start and grow community and social action projects.
WHY??
DoSomething.org accepts a limited number of applicants for each Social Action Bootcamp to keep the sessions more effective offline; however, the organization did not want to lose out on broadcasting valuable content to a larger audience all over the country. They also wanted to open up sessions to online audience members who have questions about the subject matter.
WHO??
About 100 entrepreneurial young people gather to learn best practices of creating and growing social action projects and organizations. Offline, participants network among themselves and also pitch their ideas to experts to gain valuable feedback. Online, thousands more gather to watch and ask questions via Twitter or Facebook chat, which are fielded by a justgood.tv producer to the DoSomething.org panel or moderator.

WHERE??
DoSomething.org is hosting six Social Action Bootcamps in different cities throughout 2010. Here is the list of the boot camp locations this year.
